Guiding Light
Guiding Light faced challenges in regularly updating announcements and blog posts on their website. The site had been built several years ago using a bulky theme that slowed down the site significantly and was not user-friendly. Determined to enhance front- and back-end user experience, they partnered with Top Of The List to create a fresh site design and streamlined development.
The organization’s goal was to maintain their distinctive branding while simplifying the process for their team to seamlessly make site updates.
Our team started the process with a fresh, lighter theme. Leveraging an intuitive site-builder, we streamlined the update process, making it a breeze for the Guiding Light team. Copy and images were migrated to the new site and optimized for lightning-fast loading speeds.
The organization’s branding was retained while displaying more valuable communications at the top of the page. Notably, both blog posts and general announcements are displayed on the homepage. The result is a renewed digital presence that helps both donors and individuals seeking recovery to easily discover the information they need.
Roughly one-third of the client’s visitors access the site on mobile devices, so each page was optimized for small screens.
